01 — Muck Boots
Turning a boot brand into a clog, without losing the boot brand.
A focused lifestyle shoot for Muck's new Muckster clog, built alongside supporting camping and backyard content for their core short-rise boots.
02 — The Challenge
A casual launch, without an off-brand result.
Muck built its name on heavy-duty, all-weather work boots. Launching the Muckster — a more casual, comfort-first clog — needed lifestyle content that made the case for that shift without reading as a different brand borrowing the Muck name. At the same time, the short-rise boot line needed its own lifestyle imagery: camping, yard work, the kind of everyday backyard use that's harder to fake than a studio shot.
03 — The Approach
One focused shoot covering both needs, the Muckster styled into real outdoor and backyard settings, and the short-rise boots shot doing what they're actually for: camping trips, yard work, the in-between moments of outdoor life rather than a hero shot on a mountain.
Callaghan delivered stills as the core deliverable and shot video coverage alongside it as well.
One shoot, both products, real backyard use.
04 — The Outcome
About a dozen stills from the shoot, selected by Muck, with several already running in their organic social feed.
The clearest sign creative is working isn't a metric — it's the client actually putting it in front of their audience.
